I absolutely love our summer tours. Really, I wait all year for this. The breeze on the bike is surprising cool~ I actually wore a jacket yesterday! But what I really love about this time of year is that I DON’T have to wear a jacket, just shorts and a t-shirt and we are good to go.
It might seem crazy that we are bike riding through the Mojave Desert in the middle of summer. The Canyon is quite a bit cooler because of the elevation and, like I said, the breeze is ahhhhh-mazing!!
Dare I say: “It’s a DRY heat” Oh, the flack Las Vegans get for saying this but it really is true. Zipping through the foothills, slicing our way through the the air that is such the ideal temperature it feels like weightless perfection. There’s nothing like it. We’ll be done by 1:00pm, just in time for lunch, a lounge chair and a drink with an umbrella in it. Ahhhhh, summmmer!
