Why we chose Energie Cycles for our tour bike.

When we started our tour business our number 1 question was: "which bike are we going with?" We did our online homework and then went to Interbike (the largest bike convention in North America, held in beautiful Las Vegas,NV). Mind you, that was 2012 aka the year of "what the heck's an Ebike??" We found an electric bike manufacturer in the "basement" that was just opening their doors in (beautiful) Las Vegas of all places! It's not that hot!

I absolutely love our summer tours. Really, I wait all year for this. The breeze on the bike is surprising cool~ I actually wore a jacket yesterday! But what I really love about this time of year is that I DON'T have to wear a jacket, just shorts and a t-shirt and we are good to go. It might seem crazy that we are bike riding through the Mojave Desert in the middle of summer. The Canyon is quite a bit cooler because of the elevation and, like I said, the breeze is ahhhhh-mazing!!
